As the global population continues to age, the demand for aging care facilities and senior healthcare is on the rise. This course provides an overview of the different types of aging care facilities and older adult health challenges interns may encounter in their journey.Interns will gain a better understanding of the unique features, services, and challenges associated with each type of facility, and a brief introduction to some of the most common health challenges our older adult population is experiencing.This information will equip interns with the knowledge and understanding needed to provide better quality engagement, connection with seniors and learn more about careers in Healthcare.
